More detailed instructions are below, but if you know what you're
doing, download the appropriate file for your operating system:

Windows downloads

Microsoft Store - preferred
If you can't use the Microsoft Store link - Windows 7 users may not be able to - you can directly download an installer: Windows installer . The directly downloaded installer is not signed, and you will have a number of warnings and hoops to jump through.
If you've used the old installers and have moved to use the Microsoft Store, then you likely want to uninstall (the old) Scythebill to prevent having two (potentially incompatible) versions installed.
Many thanks to BitRock for making their installers freely available for open-source software.

MacOS downloads
MacOS disk image (Only Apple Silicon - M1, M2,
.. M5 etc.)
MacOS disk image (All Macs; needed for Intel Macs, slower on Apple Silicon)
Instructions (MacOS 10.11 - El Capitan - or newer):
If you're not sure whether your computer uses Apple silicon, use the second link. You can check, though, in "About this Mac" in the Apple menu - if the chip is "Apple M1" (or M2, etc.), then the Apple silicon version will be much faster.
Scythebill recommends MacOS 10.11 (El Capitan) or newer - which covers all versions of MacOS back to 2014. If you are still using MacOS 10.10 (Yosemite), you'll need to download from this alternate link (still 14.8.1), and also please consider upgrading your operating system; even if you can't upgrade to the latest MacOS, you probably can upgrade to MacOS Mojave.
